 <>Siege XIII Feast Menu--An Eastern Banquet

1st Course

Ekmek - bread.

Tereyagi - butter.

Domates Corbasi - Tomato Soup. Tomatoes & greens blended into a vegetable broth.

<>Koy Salatasi - Village Salad. A salad of greens, sheep's cheese and olives, dressed in olive oil & lemon juice. 

2nd Course

Cacik - traditional Turkish appetizer & garnish of yogurt, cucumbers & garlic.

<>Istanbul Pilavi - Istanbul Rice. Chicken breast served with rice, peas & almonds. 

3rd Course

Piyaz - Bean Salad. Beans, onions & eggs dressed in spices, lemon juice & olive oil.

Patlican Kizartmasi - Fried Eggplant. Fried eggplant slices served with a tomato-garlic chutney.

<>Adana Kebab - Beef Kebabs. Minced beef & onion on skewers. 

4th Course

Kabak Tatlisi - Pumpkin Dessert. Pumpkin stewed in sugar.

Asure - Noah's Ark. Traditional Turkish dessert of nuts & dried fruits cooked with sugar & pearl barley.
